ACCA is the world’s largest fastest growing professional accountancy body with about 480,000 students and 188,000 members in 181 countries. It has 100 years of tradition in providing internationally recognised business-relevant, first-choice qualifications to people seeking a fulfilling career in accountancy, finance, and management.
The ACCA exams are divided into two levels – Fundamentals and Professional. The Fundamentals component comprises of two modules; the Knowledge module introduces the main areas of financial and management accounting, while the Skills module covers the main technical areas that accountants should know. The Professional level is divided into two modules – Essentials and Options. Both of the modules at Professional level have been set at the same ability level as a Master’s degree. It explores more advanced professional skills, techniques and values that are required by senior level accountants working in an advisory or consultancy role.
