As the parent of a middle schooler, I am extremely disappointed in the treatment of my son, along with his peers, by the administration. Throughout his tenure at mkis, he was a strong student in terms of academics. He made some little mistakes in terms of behaviour, in accordance with his age of 13. Although I may have been discontented with his acts, I was more furious at the barbaric treatment of him by Brian Chesher, middle school counsellor. The general parental consensus about him was that he clearly belittled students, instead of counselling and attempting to help them. I do appreciate the middle and high school principal, Alan shanks, as he had a positive, joyful attitude towards parents and students. Some other admin members were not in accordance with this though. Overall, I suggest not enrolling your child in this, as they are not treated like they should be.

I'm not a big fan of the school, I find that I am left with 2+ hours of homework per night combined. The fee is very large for the school as the population gets smaller, and admin can be slightly unreasonable at times. It's alright.

Mont Kiara International School is kinda Good. At least Better than my old school Havil International School in Brickfields, KL. When it comes to staff management, facilities, co-curricular activities, and quality of teaching, Mont Kiara is much more better than Havil International School in terms of that. I won't recommend Havil International School.

I've heard a lot about this school in KL. KL is blessed to have lot of schools like Mont Kiara. But kids coming from a small town like Sungai Petani are very unfortunate. Wish, they were also blessed to have another branch in Sungai Petani, Kedah near AIMST University.

"Bully-free" the management's brainless head. Most students zero discipline. The principal and I believe, there is no discipline teacher in the school, let all the disciplinary issues slide in the school. No wonder the students all so spoilt and disrespectful. Glad I have taken my kids out of this school

Definitely not recommend to come to this school, yes indeed the school fee is quite cheap compared to other international schools, but definitely not worth the money at all. We parents paid around rm900 for the meal plan, but my kid found hair and plastic in their rice or jelly, not only once, and a lot of parents complaint but yet the same thing happened. Kis is a bully free school, but whenever there’s a big problem such as punching, the teachers and principal will just take it as a small case and didn’t even bother to listen to the student’s point of view at all, and then the principal will just kick students out and act like nothing ever happened. Not worth ur money and ur kids time at all.

Don’t even visit this school. You better just pass this one. If you make any small complaint, the school will give you final notice to leave the school. And you cannot get a full refund. Then the school can find someone else to pay the school instead of you. This school is completely exist for making money not for education.

"Most teachers aren't good. Teachers are always in contrarily with most students which I think in most cases are unnecessary. The school is very profit orientated and they tend to overcharge students for the quality they provide. This includes graduation ceremony which is made compulsory. They charged students more than RM350 for a very simple ceremony held in school. **Firstly, I don't have to be a parent to put forth my experience at your school. I am using this account to protect my identity as an individual. For your information, I am a graduate student from class of 2017. If you going to challenge me, prove my statements wrong, not my identity."

great school overall with friendly teachers and friends. however this school is extremely strict as the management worries of their image way too much. if I were to describe the school in a phrase, it would be "an expensive government school". if you enroll in this school, be sure not to mess up as the kingsley way of dealing with problems is just to remove the cause. an example of this would be them completely removing cups from the cafeteria after a few people didn't clean up. they don't serve you any water in your RM2000/term meal plan. be sure to pack your own food or get ready to enjoy bland, extremely tasteless but extremely spicy pasta.

My 10 year old child attended Kingsley hoping that he will be well verse in English but turn out that he mingles with more korean classmates instead. So i made a complaint. As a result i was given a notice for my child to leave the school. I told them i will make a police report and they apologised to me. Instead of seeing improvements my child was being bullied and always given a hard time.Because of this situation I decided to withdraw my child from the school and the school does not refund a single cent. On top of these food served is of poor quality and unhygiene. Even after complaining they do nothing to solved the issue. The school security also needs to buck up and be more efficient. I never had a peace of mind whenever my child goes to school. There are far better schools out there. Kingsley simply fails in everyway in managing the school and students and also having bad rapport with parents.

"School is okay in general. The only complaint I have is the breakfast and lunch that is compulsory to pay. I told my parent's that I don't need the meal plan and can just bring food from home so we can set some money aside for more important stuff like groceries or bills but because it is compulsory to pay I am stuck eating bland, tasteless food everyday. I think you should really up your game on the food part. As a foodie lover, somebody who gets hungry easily and eats food a lot to keep my energy level up, I need food where I can enjoy eating to last the whole school day without getting tired or sleepy. It doesn't matter what you serve but just,,,, try to make it as edible as possible. The food is always either tasteless, spicy as heck, or just inedible in general. Thank you and I hope that the food will taste better in the future."

Kingsley supersede it’s teaching n caring competency, my three kids live the school for discipline n I learnt to work alongside the school management to ensure their future are secured, the parents from korean n China or even japan shld go back to where they come from n let their kids study in their home country instead of abusing Malaysian school system!

"My nephews and nieces are studying in Kingsley and recently I went with my sister to the school Parent Teacher Conference. Reading the comments posted here, I found out that the reviews are wrong. The Homeroom teacher of my niece is a man from Australia, and I saw a handful of foreign expatriates too. The staff at the reception counter were helpful and warm. The information that the teacher gave about my nephews and nieces are spot on, and my sister told me that the school food is much better than her children's previous school, with good choices of food to be chosen. The feeling that I got from the School is it is a warm school with teachers and staff who help parents and students. This is my personal experience."

Just read some comments about how bad this school is especially in bullying policies which number one I disagree with. Kingsley take full responsibility if any students who are being bullied and they will be punished by doing school chores which I think is good and would teach them a lesson to not bully anymore as the school does not tolerate with . Another thing that i read from another person/parents review about the school's canteen food are ridiculous because the food that are served to the students are clean and healthy. My child who's in year 2 finds the food delicious and would always go for seconds. And lastly reading about the security of the school not being professional, my personal opinion about it that they're doing there jobs well done during and after school as when the students come in and out. They make sure who are the people that are picking the students up especially primary and kindergartner students. They will announce and call the student's name once there guardians arrive the school. At the same time, like to take this opportunity to give a “ BIG THANKS “ to Ms Ellis and also the facility of Kingsley. Keep up the good work and may God bless everyone. ????
