Instructor: Annabel Eliza Tiu

Annabel is an established vocalist, singer songwriter and cellist. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Arts(Music Studies) from University Malaysia Sabah where she studied under Polish cellist Madam Halina Ostojska. She has also gone through the tutelage of Mr Nasran Nawi and Mr Lian Phooi Wooi during her internship with the National Symphony Orchestra of Istana Budaya. She is no stranger to the music scene, and has been professionally performing on stage since 2008.

As a singer, Annabel’s debut performance was at the 2009 Kota Kinabalu Jazz Fest and that has propelled her to further delve into her passion for singing. She has been performing as a singer for numerous venues, functions and festivals. Annabel is also a music arranger and songwriter, having arranged orchestra pieces for a few orchestras, namely for the Jesselton Philharmonic Orchestra for the Musical Festival at the Tip of Borneo. She also has a knack for writing and composing music, her first single “Catchin’ Up” by Annabel T is now available on iTunes and Spotify, she is also currently working on recording her first album. She believes that the first contact a child has with music is through singing, and her aim is to expose her students to the beauty a expressing oneself through the music they can create through their voices or through their hands and feet.

Students are allowed to learn classical vocal or contemporary vocal in this class. Classical voice is a singing vocal music in the style of the classical composers. Usually meaning the composers who also wrote for the symphonic or chamber orchestra. While Contemporary Voice allows you to sing in the styles such as Pop, RnB, Jazz, Rock, Musical Theatre and Folk.

ER Cancellation Policy: Members can cancel an Order at any time within 7 days of the Order Transaction Date or a minimum of three days before the Order Fulfilment Date mutually agreed between the Member and Vendor, whichever date is earliest. Failing which, no refund is due to the Member except for when the Vendor cancels the order for any reason.
