CLE Enrichment Centre in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur is an English Language learning centre for children. English language is adopted as the sole medium of instruction in our tuition centre. Our programme trains kids to read progressively, think critically and write creatively. The kids will enjoy the learning process even though it is academically structured, because at the same time, the classes are socially engaging and fun.
At CLE Enrichment Centre, we believe that children learn it the best not when they are learning language piece by piece but rather they are working to understand the meaning of whole texts. That is why our programmes are built on the Whole Language Learning approach which calls for language to be regarded holistically, rather than as pieces. Also both cognitive and affective factors are taken care of in the learning process. Language skills are integrated in the curriculum in a progressive order while various levels of thinking skills defined in bloom taxonomy (ie. remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating and creating) are included to complete the tasks.
CLE Enrichment Centre Curriculum
Education is a mind developing and value forming process. We focus more on the learning process than on the results. English is the medium of instruction which is used to train children a wide range of intellectual skills to prepare them for their academic development. The curriculum is designed not only to nurture true scholarship but also help in enhancing children’s articulation, positive attitudes, courage, creativity, self-esteem, social and leadership skills.
At the beginning stages, we work towards instilling good reading habits in children. In the later stages, we build and expand on their reading abilities. We then get them to analyze, evaluate and write about what they have read. Writing (creating), which requires the highest level of thinking skills, is the best way to exercise their thinking faculties.

The center approaches apply to any type of child level, from fluently English speaking background to non English background. A child will go through assessment prior to being accepted by the center, and the center creates a learning environment for the children to improve over time from reading to writing.
This is not a tuition center that tackle exam questions and essay writing that fit into Malaysia education exam format. It improves your child’s ability to communicate and writing skills and those skills will help them in their daily life and in a way improve all subjects that’s English related.
The center impose different coaching concepts / activities for different levels and able to attract and transform kids from non reader to a reader, my son that’s 8 years old today is a great example.
The center offers holiday programs, give it a try and experience the enrichment yourself.

22nd November 2019 at 12:38 pmI sent my daughter since age 3 and currently she is 10 years old. Her English capability is beyond friends her age. She had built her confidence in communicating in English even though she is in Chinese school. She had no issue adapting to English speaking environment as CLE provides the platform for kids to communicate in English. For parents who wants their children to build their English foundation, CLE is the place.

3rd December 2019 at 9:39 amCLE uses English as the main medium of instruction with many different programs and activities during their lively classes handled by competent mentors. The children are able to master English beyond their age group after attending classes in CLE. CLE builds in an important readership habit into the children that is severely lacking these days. However, parents must get involved directly to cultivate the reading habit at home as well.
My daughter has attended CLE since she was 3 years old. When she first started, she was an introvert and not sociable. After nearly 6 years, I can see the vast difference in terms of her social skills, confidence, participation and gaining more friends. She is more assertive in expressing her thoughts and improved her focus in doing her task and activities.
The major difference between CLE and other centers is that CLE programs are based on the individual level and not age bound. Thus, every child has the opportunity to excel within his/her own capabilities and not have the fear of being outshined by others. I feel this is important to bring out the full potential of each child.
An important element is the constant review of the child’s developments by the center. The center engages and updates the parents on the progress of each child. Having this close monitoring is vital for the parents to continue and accelerate the development of their child.
I highly recommend sending your child to CLE. You will not regret the investment!
