Scuba Genesis (also known as Scuba G Mermaid & Diving Club) in Petaling Jaya, Selangor is an official SSI instructor training center that conducts scuba diving and mermaiding (mermaid classes) from entry level courses to professional courses, suitable for children (aged 6 or 10 years old & above) and adults.
Scuba Genesis was formed out of passion in May 2016. We wanted to provide a fun and healthy sport or hobby for the younger generation to keep their mind off unhealthy activities and be more aware of the importance of our Ocean.

What is Mermaiding?
Mermaiding is a new skill derived from Freediving. It's an enjoyable way for adults and children to show their creative side. Mermaiding is a relaxing and fun way to stay workout, helping to improve your core strength as well as to destress. Great for both your body & mind!

I had a tight schedule but the owner was flexible and accommodating from the start, doing everything possible to ensure I’d be able to complete the course in time while still maintaining the highest standard of training. The equipment, was very well maintained, and there was a great selection of sizes with respect to the gear. They were very understanding, knowledgable and accommodating. Great scuba center! This group were professional and friendly. Had a great time.I would highly recommend seeing them for your certification.

18th August 2020 at 11:12 amHad my best experience to learn my OWD at Scuba G. Alex Wang, my superb scuba diving instructor. He is passionate and professional. Salt water pool here is comfortable to practice especially if you scare to open your eye in water like me. Never worried if you’re alone, the big family here always welcome you with the open arms. Highly recommended.
