MusicWerks Studio in Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) Kuala Lumpur, is a music studio offering classes to learn drums, guitar, keyboards, singing, ukulele, violin and many more! Our music centre welcomes students from all ages and walks of life, from as young as 4 years up to pensioners. For adults who wish to return to music practice, we have ‘play for fun’ syllabus conducted in groups or individual lessons.
Everybody deserves the opportunity to learn music as part of a well-rounded education. MusicWerks is the perfect place to learn any music instrument. The combination of discipline. concentration, socialisation and creativity are skills that will last a lifetime. During the school holidays, we have workshops conducted in music production and film scoring for ages 8 and up.
MusicWerks Programs
1. PLAY FOR FUN
Pick one or multiple instruments (Drums, Guitar, Keyboards, Singing, Ukulele, Violin) and learn to play your favourite song! No pressure to perform or exams to sit for, this course is student directed which means the instructor facilitates your learning speed.
2. TRINITY, ABRSM, ROCK SCHOOL
We encourage all beginner learners to sit for the graded exams of their choice. With a grade 6 certification, students will be able to teach music and also apply for scholarships in their tertiary education.
3. INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER MUSIC
This course introduces you to music software and equipment used for music recording, arranging and editing as part of a Digital Audio Workstation. For those seeking certification in Steinberg Cubase Music Production, please call to enquire about our 12-week program.
4. FILM SCORING
This is an intermediate course designed for an in-depth approach to sequencing and programming on a music software platform of your choice. Students will be composing and arranging songs and commercial jingles. We will be covering the principles of arrangement, melody and harmony and will take a dive at mixing and mastering.
