I did not know much about Tzu Chi before I sent my daughter there. But I heard good things about it from a colleague of mine. I have been searching far and wide for a truly bilingual English-Mandarin school. Tzu Chi is not only bilingual but tri-lingual, with BM as well. They teach Mandarin, English and BM to an excellent standard. It really is the answer to what I have been searching for. From the very beginning I had the impression that the school is extremely well organised. I did not know much about the teaching style and method until Covid-19 when the school went fully online after mere weeks of preparation. Learning from home, I had the opportunity to listen to the teachers teach and had to be more actively involved in my daughter's lessons. Wow, teachers and team are absolutely amazing! The way they teach, the love and the care that they pour into each lesson, the way the classes were organised,the amount of effort the teachers put into the learning, the pep talks and assembly, I can really feel like the purpose of the whole school was only for the well weing of the students, to nurture them to be loving, responsible and contributing citizens of the world. I hope that we can have a more diverse student population, as it is mostly Chinese children at the moment. I feel very lucky that our daughter is part of Tzu Chi and only wish that more schools and teachers can be like them.
