Come to this school with your eyes wide open as no school is good at everything. Emphasis is on academic achievement and discipline. ECA is sparse compared to similar schools. I would say it's a good school for smarter students and not so for not-so-smart students. Whether this is fair or not, I am not in a position to judge. Some schools don't stream students, so it may be better for the not-so-smart students. However, this school does appear to pay more attention to the smarter students, so parents have to think carefully what they are after when choosing a school for their kids. Even though the school is now very large, you can still get personal attention from the VPs as there are many of them. Also, don't expect them to bend rules for one student as rules are applied strictly and to everyone. In a way, that is fair. In another way, you can say it is inflexible. Therefore, I say this again: Go in with your eyes wide open. Find out everything about the school first. If everything is acceptable to you, it's a good school. To me, it's academic excellence is very appealing!
